Hi you lovely lot! You asked so we delivered, here is a quick demo of how to achieve a BEACHY wave look using straighteners. (GHD used in the demo but we are also partial to cloud 9)
The trick with this look is not to over think it. Take large sections, take the front sections away from the face and the rest in random directions. Don’t curl too near the roots or right to the ends.
I have very fine hair so have one pack of zen hair tapes fitted. The tapes give a stronger baseline to my hair cut, add volume and also help maintain the curl.
If you have fine hair like moi, don’t overload the hair with too many products it will only become dull and lifeless and they tend to weigh the hair down. I’m a big fan of Kevin Murphy anti gravity spray at the roots for volume and KEVIN MURPHY Full Again mid lengths and ends as this product not only gives the illusion of thicker hair, it also protects it from the heat. I finish by working a little Schwarzkopf dust it, or KM powder puff from the roots through to the ends to break up the waves.
If you need any more info don’t hesitate, just holler! Please let us know if you try this look at home and send us pics of your finished results, we would love to see!
